May 23rd to 27th;  51st Birthday Meet, Ebborways Farm, Priddy.  There is a lovely pub s short walk away, The Queen Vic - approved by the chairman! There will be fun and games organised by members of the committee, such as;
Thursday     12 Noon    Meet opens.
7.00 pm    Gather in Marquee for own drinks and natter
        11.00pm     AQP (All Quiet Please)

Friday        Day free to explore surrounding area see page 10.                   
 7:30 Fun time in party Tent hosted by Ken and Liz
Saturday    2.00 – 5.00pm     Past Chairman’s Reception and High tea  in Priddy Village Hall, Toast to Somerset DA (Music by Jonathon)
7.00pm  onwards, music by Lianna Haynes  

Sunday    2:30 village Fair in and around Party Tent, Followed by communal bring your own BBQ around party tent            
7:30 entertainment hosted by Robert,Julia,Carol. Raffle
Monday    11.00am    Coffee & Tea in Marquee / Around Pennon

Tuesday     12 Noon    Somerset Birthday meet ends.

The unclassed but otherwise good road  from the A39 (Wells to Bristol road) leading to Priddy looks likely to be shut until sometime in June but not marked closed from the A39. This leaves just 1 entry to Priddy suitable for caravans.

From the A39 Wells to Bristol take the B3135 at Green Ore traffic lights ( at the Ploughboy inn) towards Cheddar, after approx. 7 miles see sign marked to the club site on the left  Follow past the club site into the village. Turn right at the  sign to the Queen Victoria Inn. Site on right ( take care not to overshoot the site as the road gets very narrow.)

This route is advisable for motorhomes also.

June 13th to 18th; Home Farm, Blue Anchor, Minehead TA24 6JS. Lots to do for all the family. On Saturday 15th, there is a car boot sale in an adjascent field, West Somerset Railway will be operating their blue timetable on Sunday 16th, running from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard, steam and deisel.And there are buses to Minehead and Watchet.

The Camping and Caravanning Club strongly recommends that ALL campers should have a FULL bucket of water outside their unit as a NEAR TO HAND fire fighting tool and also carry a First Aid kit.
